HSC actively seeks income producing real estate with transaction sizes in the $10 million plus range in the multifamily, office, industrial, and retail sectors. Our preference is for value-add or under managed assets where opportunities exist to improve the physical and day-to-day operations of the asset in order to capture the upside between in-place and market rents. While the HSC portfolio includes assets located in both the New York tri-state area and Florida markets, our current focus is on the Florida market. We continue to look at opportunities in the NY tri-state area.
HSC currently manages an income producing real estate portfolio of approximately 1 million square feet. All our assets are 100% owner managed with ownership on-site at each property on a weekly basis. With more than forty years of experience in commercial real estate operations, we recognize that the only formula for creating value in real estate is a hands-on approach to property management and the supervision of all vendor activities.
HSC currently leases a portfolio of approximately 1 million square feet. We do retain third party leasing agents for some of our assets, while some of our properties have onsite leasing offices with highly qualified agents specializing in tenant relations landlord and tenant representation.
